What is your preferred hangover cure?

I try to drink a pint of water before bead. And a few pieces of toast 'to soak it up'

Morning after, i'm all about the stodge. Big greasy breakfast and lots more fluids.

Ice cream or Mcd's milkshakes are good.

Lucozade helps, as does a strong frsh pot of coffee.

Try and get as much water down your neck as poss. Before you go to bed, its the dehydration that gets you...

Oh and a.

NO NO NO NO NO NON NONONNONONONONONONO NO!!!

Drinking excessive amounts of water can be fatal - it causes cerebral oedema which turns a hangover into a funeral. Yes keep hydrated but "as much water... as poss" - don't be stupid.

come on get a grip

Before going to bed I when I use to drink I'd have two slices of toast with peanut butter, a pint of water and a small banana.

The peanut butter and banana provided some slow release sugar, the water took away some of the dehydration and I use to feel pretty ok in the morning. A couple of dissolving paracetamol if the head was a little ropey and job done

Don't attempt to cook anything while drunk.

Especially chips.

Drunk cooking is at least as dangerous as drunk driving.

Mmm, if you leave Oxtail soup in a pan long enough it boils dry, then you melt a hole in the bottom of the pan...

Why does a kebab make you feel twice as rough?

I think when you get that bit older and you've overdone it the only cure is time.

There's no shortcuts!!!

Calm down dear, go have a drink. Stop being such a drama Queen.

Water poisoning only usually happens if you drink about 3-4litres in one go. Someone did die through water poisoning last year on a radio station competition in USA about 2 years ago. I think about 2 pints is what I try to aim for if I go out drinking. Nurofen before bed and then cold coke in the morning.
