Some are obvious, such as mine. I am from the Medway Towns and my name is Jon. How creative!

We have some interesting usernames on here so would be nice to see whats behind them or what they mean.

BTW, can you tell I'm bored today?

Jon, you sound as bored as me. My username has absolutely no hidden context, it just sounded better than bogeyman or parman. Simple as.

We are snowed in, I put my back out on 27th Dec and have the worst head cold/chest cough I can ever remember so the last week has been awful. Thankfully the back is easing off today but cold is not shifting. Thank god for the internet, I have been buying and selling golf gear to fill the hours!

It's snowing in Edinburgh today, too. Luckily, got a full game in yesterday to blow the New Year cobwebs away. The planned game tomorrow is now looking dodgy, though.

Mine comes from the fact that my nickname has always been Homer. No one down the pub calls me by my real name (Martin). As soon as I walk in its "Alright Homer" It has got so bad we have a new member of the winter darts team and he had to ask what my name was as he had only ever heard me called Homer - DOH!!!!

Mine is very boring, my initials are GB but that is usually taken as a user name so I add my year of birth 1972.

Mine is because when I first started playing I used to spend alot of time playing in the sand, it is also because I quite like the snazzy clothing brand of the same name.

Happy New Year by the way, back from honeymoon and now facing the prospect of golf in the cold (boo)

My grandad always called me Andra instead of Andrew and when my mates heard him say it the used to try and tease me about it but to be honest I prefered Andra. Anyway, one day a guy a bit older than me tried it once too often and he got the big mitt and some soft ribs and the other mates started calling me .......
