what colour

thats the point of them, white normal conditions, into the wind yellow job done suits me. but new driver and it sits different so trying different heights. only use castles for driver (im not that daft). i just find it helps me as its always at the same height it instills confidence. imo

oh right. thats exactly what i dont like about them. i dont even lift them if i find them. i like to get my (preferably wooden) tee to the goldilocks setting for each hole.

well after hitting some balls into the pond in my avatar (deliberately) i reckon its white castles all the way. although i did like the pink tee and white driver combo at address:whistle:

Yep, must admit that I'm a castle tee convert too. Used to use those daft 'Zero Friction' tees, but now much prefer the consistent height you get with castles. I used pink for the driver last season and red for 3 wood, rescue and irons, but since changing the shaft in my driver I've now gone down to a white tee for that.

Never thought about it but no I guess I don't sweep off a tee with irons - yes with 3/5/hybrid unless I catch it fat. Thinking about it though I hit a lovely hybrid today on the 12th and left the tee in the mud as it was flattened and just visible. The orange one just peeps the ball above the grass...
Its ok to sweep on the driver Amanda and perhaps the hybrid but when it comes to the irons you should really be just setting up with a short tee for a good lie and hitting it as a normal fairway iron....sweeping irons off the tee is for girls!!

like you, I scavenge around the short hole tees for broken tees for short hole use.

but I do use castle tees for the driver for consistency of height.

Where is the beach forest though?
Observed a heated debate last year along the lines of 1 or 2 plastic tees per round vs 14-18 wooden ones. Where they were shipped from, how they were made etc. Too complicated for me to work out which was the more eco in the end, both made good cases. Whatever.

I used the grey castle tees with my driver but lost so many of them. I now use these radioactive orange jobbies and have had the same one four months now (honest) I use the red for hybrids and 3 wood and broken wooden ones for irons. I used to like making a dent with an iron and sit the ball on the lip but it seems to be considered vandalism these days.

Pinkncastles for driver, may try the grey ones tomorrow though. I used to use the little orange one for irons and hybrids off the tee but kept losing them so back to using broken wooden ones. I also had that many wooden tees at home I broke a load just to put in my bag!!

Always has been and always will be wooden tees for me.

Use the yellow pride tees for the drive and the red ones for woods, hybrid, irons.

Just can't stand the bulky looking castle tees.
