What balls do you use/would recommend

Hi there,


I currently use titleist pro v1x or titleist pro v1, currently pro v1x. I'm interested in looking at what balls you guys use and what you recommend and what I should try.


I play off of 11 and prefer a softer ball that I can control well. Distance is not an issue I'm not worried about it as I can find it easily but being able to control around the green is what I want.

So, what would you recommend. I like a soft ball that will be easy to use around the green, I'm not to worried about distance more about how it feels. I love to do short game and do well around the green. I of course don't want to spend to much but will if needs be.



So what would you recommend? More than happy to answer questions about my playing style

You currently use the number 1 ball on the professional tour.

Currently playing the Titleist NXT Tour S which is a great ball. Plenty of spin and soft feel - and much cheaper than the ProV1. Durability is pretty good too.
Lake balls always seem a bit hit and miss sometimes - and there is nothing worse than a refurbed and repainted ProV IMO.
Mizuno also made an MP-S tour ball a while ago which was great but over-priced. If you shop around, you may find quite a few shops trying to offload plenty that never really sold in great numbers the first time around because of their ridiculous price (i.e.- more than the market leader! didn't get that one either, Mizuno)

I wouldn't use lake balls. Plenty of brand new balls available cheaper than Pro V that perform just as well (Bridgestone RXS in particular)

im currently using nike one rzn £15 a box and im really liking them, but tbh prov1's and hex blacks are untouchable in my opinion
