What are your golf plans for the weekend?

Hi all,

Just wondering what everyones golf plans for the weekend are. I don't have any fixed plans but I hope to play with Fundy or another non forum member, if not I will be quite happy to play alone or with whoever I bump into at the club.

No time set, wake up, play with baby, hit the club in whatever time wake up and playing daddy takes.

What you guys doing?

Society day on Sunday afternoon. Booked before I realised it was father's day so I'm giving up paying for my own treat!!

Playing in Cheshire somewhere, never played it before so always nice going to a new track. Looking forward to it.
 
Club is out as there are competitions on both days that i've not entered so I might play the par 3 course at the range a few times, weather depending. I'll maybe have a few buckets of balls to bed the new irons in and try and sort out my squinty driver. I've still got a bunch of lessons to take so if it's sunny on Sunday I'll get a lesson.

And I plan to drink beer and watch the US Open :D
 
Monthly medal tomorrow, need to go and sort my driving tonight as it was worse than poor at Castlerock and parts of Ballyliffin. I was hitting great 3 woods and am actually contemplating leaving the driver in the locker for a day and not bothering with the practice this evening, especially if it is still wet outside.
 
Have got my first round matchplay tie in the 'B Championship' at 5.10pm on Sunday, having inexplicably qualified last weekend. :cool:
 
1.07 tee time booked for tomorrow at my club,
Cottingham parks.. East Yorkshire.
Heavy rain forcast though.
Hope I can get out, look forward to 18 holes each Saturday.

Was hoping to be playing at the Congressional in the US Open but my first day score of 75 has made it hard for me. Presently lying in 84th, I will need a good round today. :D :D :D :D :D :D

If I dont make it I have a pairs KO arrange for Sunday morning, which is lucky because the bad weather is due on saturday with the better day being Sunday. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
 
Friday = nightshift = no golf
Saturday = nightshift = no golf
Sunday = nightshift = no golf

Tie Monday morning at 1100hrs, no sleep, playing like a tit, I'll be surprised if I take it past the 13th.
 
Going to play in a club qualifier today and tomorrow then we have a Beckford Bowl 2nd round match which will be 36 on the sunday.

So probably getting very wet and up .2 but if we come out on top on sunday it won't all be in vain!
 
Club championship Saturday (36 Hole)first tee time 8:04. Sunday, Sunday Medal competition...Just hope it doesn't rain as hard as last weekend! :)
 
Can't play in tomorrows Medal comp' as the wife is off to be god mother to a friends little girl and I'm watching little un'. I'm off to the range tomorrow morning for a couple of hours (before HID leaves) to play with my new shineys.

Should be playing 18 Sunday evening ready for the club stableford next weekend.
 
friendly fathers day knock Sunday 1pm.

was going tomorrow but weather and a sore right shoulder from hauling carp yesterday has persuaded me to give it a miss and do some admin instead
 
Heading back to Lincolnshire tomorrow for the weekend. Playing with Bob and Jan at their place tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to it as I haven't played Sudbrook in the summer since I was a wee lad.

Not looking forward to it because there is rain forecast and I owe Bob money :mad: :D
 
Ye I sorta dont like playing golf on sunday but the weather may force that this week looking at it now.
 
Got my Society match play singles 2nd round this afternoon and playing with full_throttle in his club's members invitation tomorrow. I hope he's not expecting anything special :D
