Lesson tomorrow lunchtime followed by some time on the practice ground. Maybe a round in the afternoon too. Hoping to also get out for a round on Sunday. One thing is for sure - I need to get my putter working after a horrendous performance with it yesterday. Playing Tracy Park near Bath on Sunday morning with my Dad and 2 brothers, one of them is over from Australia, me and him have always been very competitive when it comes to sport so i'm desperate to beat him on Sunday, whoever wins will get bragging rights for years to come.

Honours board comp sat, rain set to dominate the day but still excited as my game is the best it has ever been at the moment.

Sunday rolling up to join up with a random group after a nice hearty breakfast in the clubhouse.

Tie Monday morning at 1100hrs, no sleep, playing like a tit, I'll be surprised if I take it past the 13th.

fri - day job 9 am-5pm.. night job 8.30pm-3.30am
sat have inter club comp tee at 9am they want us there at 8 .. in this sat night aswell 8.30-3.30.. golf semi final & final sunday IF we qualify in top 4 sat .. not much time for sleep .

Good luck with that Rb , looks like you're an odd years kind of guy.

BTW i'm working Saturday so no golf and I'm on nights Sunday and Monday. Next golf is a midweek medal on wednesday and an interclub bash on Thursday evening. Then its nothing until B/Lakes next Sunday.

Club Champs on Saturday at 10.40, and Sunday in reverse order from Saturday - so hopefully not too early! It has been lashing with rain most of the week so that will spoil the hope of really quick greens that I was looking forward to - probably only be around 11.5-12 at this rate!

Honours Board Stableford Competition tomorrow. Aiming to be in contention. Game is feeling good, confidence is high and the rain doesn't bother me that much. Fingers crossed I can play to my potential

Not by choice, my back is killing me. Couldn't swing a club if I tried. Lower back pain will see me chilling out and hoping it goes away in time for Captains Day next weekend.

At the moment nothing. The course reopens fully after Royal Ascot in the morning so I'm tempted to get out and play. However having played yesterday and got soaked out 2 bed mid terrace is like a cross between a Chinese laundry and the back room of a pro shop with towels, waterproofs, clubs, bag, hat, gloves umbrella and shoes all trying to dry off.
