Heavy, heavy sleet all day but nothing lay and the course remained open but unsurprisingly no bugger ventured out.
Stood in the Pro Shop at about 4pm this afternoon when I hear a rumble and think to myself "Today isn't brewery delivery day"....as I gaze out the window I realise what the rumble is.....a muckle tree comes crashing to the ground around the 18th green, thankfully it has fallen the best way and has not caused any damage!
What a wild day,Otters yeasterday and this morning then tree down this afternoon!!!!!
As I came home at 7pm my car read 1.5c......7 days ago as I came home it read 25.5c....crazy stuff!!
Been chucking it down here all day and really windy, the course could do with a drop of water to be honest as some greens were seriously dry the other day.
Forecast looks like more of the same tomorrow then getting back to normal for Thursday and the weekend.
Its been a bit bizarre here tonight, sitting on the couch looking out the window and it looks lovely, sun shining.......2 mins later its hail stones and then snow then back to sunshine. Its bloody freezing though when you get outside. Could be snow tonight!!
Looked ok this morning - bright sunshine albeit a bit windy - so I headed up to the course. Got ready to play and then the snow started so I hung around a bit before admitting it wasn't going off and jumped back in the car.
We had some additional events arranged for our Juniors at the start of this week. The weather has been so bad that only two guys ventured out on Monday afternoon. Hardly anyone ventured out onto the course yesterday or today and certainly not any of the Juniors.
Hopefully the weather will improve as we have some other events planned for the start of next week.

It was interesting to note that this winter the weather temperatures in Scotland were much higher than Southern England.
Where we love in SW Scotland I can only remember a couple of slight frosts.
