Weather Update

Last week it was 24 degrees. This morning (09.00) it is currently 1 degree (Minus 5 with windchill) and snowing. The season has s tarted and the course is closed due to snow!

I didnt think it was snowing that far down, i knew the bioys in the north east etc were getting it pretty bad.

Nothing in the central belt to speak of, a light flurry and thats it. wind is wild and driving rain, supposed to be clear by the weekend but you can forget that 30 yards of roll especially on the landsdowne, thats a cracking course especially the last 5 holes.

Im so envious of your green fees two unbelievably good courses for what i pay for one thats not a patch on yours.

Four inches in Forres, two to three in Nairn - it was stonking it down all night. It's trying occasionally to snow again for a couple of minutes at a time but right this moment it's blue skies here in Forres and it's melting away quite quickly.

Still snowing in Fife, been like this since 6am. It's not lying but my course is closed as it's in the hills.
The good news is that over the next two days there is to be a 10* temperature rise that will thaw most areas and should be good for the weekend.

I'm about 40 or so miles north of Brum at the minute. No change still pretty bright, but more cloud now.

Finally stopped snowing in Livingston(my work) think its only sleet back in Edinburgh but here in Livingston there is about an inch or two that has lay! Last week I was out getting a tan on my lunch and this week it's a snowball fight arranged!

Just goes to show you can't take the good weather for granted. It was 24 deg last week and played in shorts on Tuesday evening.
