Wearing Lacoste on the course

arrrrgh aye laaa, nottin rong wiv la coste ya no laa. Get on to ar scouser der from ova da water, am sure ee wearz a lacoste tracky and trabs mate when he's playin ya know, Safe mate, safe. 4get dem cranks, day dont no nottin ya know! :D

Dont worry about it, I wear Henry LLoyd, Lacoste and Hugo Boss Polo's. All worn by the chav quality in my area, however, I dont have the bottoms to my shell suit on with them. The trousers, belt and shiney shoes make it look smart.

I disagree with most of this thread ,Lacoste is a time less fashion, yes the Chav Culture wear it but thats only shell suits and the stupid striped knit wear.
The plain polo's are still nice as are the plain knitwear but maybe try J Lindeberg. After seeing some of the so called fashion on here i just shake my head as why these people can give any advice on it. :)

When you get yourself a proper shave I'll start listening to your fashion advice Mr Kemlo.

I don't really understand what's chavvy and what isn't. I don't really think too much about what brand I buy, but more whether I like the shirt. I guess I'm justy too old to worry about it.

Go for it, who cares what you wear as long as you feel comfortable with your choice. I wear quite a bit of Lyle & Scott gear as i think its great for on and off the course, even if chavs wear it i dont care

Lacoste polos are lovely - got about half a dozen, although I don't wear them for golf. At the end of the day, it's what you feel most comfortable playing in that matters.

Nothing wrong with Lacoste gear and so if you want to wear it on the course go for it. What's the difference between Lacoste and Lyle & Scott or a Ping, Adidas or Nike label

Nothing; afterall they're probably all made in the same sweat-shop in the far east! ;)

It was a rhetorical question. Irrespective of price they are still just fashion labels and so as long as they are fit for the purpose and don't transgress any club policy then why not a lacoste motif intead of a nike etc
