Evening All!

In the market for some new waterproofs! I have decided on a jacket which I am happy with, it's just the trousers that I am having a problem with finding.

I'm looking for a pair of trousers which are more 'fitted' instead of just ones with a draw string that will go over a trouser. Ideally they'd be buttoned up instead of draw strings & not overly flared and baggy! Such a fussy person I know!

So I am looking for some feedback from people who can recommend some that may fit my requirements!

I've looked at the J Lindeberg Swing Pant but I am yet to find a stockist to actually see them.

They are but they do have a button as well for fastening. If you are wanting stand alone waterproof trousers then Ping do them as I have a pair. I will have a look to see if I can find them

I'd suggest you are being a bit picky.

I've half a dozen pairs of w/p Trousers (from having 3 bags and an expanding, now contracting, waistline).

Can't actually remember the styles, but as the Jacket goes over the Trou, I don't deem it important.

The most recent purchase, Benross ones, are as good as any - including my old, tried an tested GGs.

Put my FJ waterproofs to the ultimate test in biblical rain yesterday and cam through unscathed. Can't recommend them highly enough. They have a draw string but does it really matter once they are on and the jacket goes over the top

Gone with the FJ Dry Joys Tour XP Trousers. Managed to get them for £100 from GolfBuyItOnline. Cheers all :)

I wear spray away walking trousers, they are fully lined and not over trousers. I just put them on when the weather looks like it could turn, they are comfortable and warm. You have to condition them every time you wash them but that's quite easy. So look on the walking websites

I've got a pair of galvin green bottoms but in addition recently bought a pair of black under armour storm trousers. They are button fastening and relatively narrow - give them a look. I saw them in AG but they didn't have my size and ordered them form golf online.

Budget?

I'm just about to order Proquip Trophy trousers. Love the idea of having 2 zips on the side, one for the trouser pocket and one to allow access to your trousers underneath. I'm forever leaving stuff in trouser pockets when I put waterproofs on.

Have a look at the stuburt trousers if you can.
Decent stuff and can be picked up for around 40 quid.

Just ordered a second pair for myself.
