Want to fix my bag

When I bought my clubs, they came with a stand bag.

I went & bought a trolley, and as the legs got in the way, I cut them off. Drilled out the top bolts, cut along the bottom where the lever kicks the legs out.

All is well with putting it on my trolley. :thup:

Now, however I have realised a HUGE mistake in that twilight golf (& poor weather/ground conditions) would benefit from a stand bag.

Does anyone know/seen where I can get replacement legs from? I am quite handy with a toolkit so can do a bit of fettling to get them to fit, but I need the whole replacement unit.

The legs, the lever etc. Or if anyone is about to dispose of a carry bag that has seen better days? I am sure I could make use of the legs etc. Cheers all

Sorry it won't help much, but I only threw a bag out last week that had perfectly fine legs and mechanism. I'm not sure you'll be able to fix that though. Why not just use it as a pencil bag and lie it down?

Pencil bags would be fine, but a) they are a little small for my "accessories" I want to carry & b) I don't want to be laying it down in the mud etc.

I meant why not use your legless bag like a pencil bag and lay it down?

Yeah I do at the moment, but for the wetter weather I will still be in the same boat, hence wanting to replace the legs.

Swasterix - I'm on the lookout for a just a piece of a stand bag mechanism (the plastic gromit bit that joins the top of the leg to the bag). I can send a photo if you want.
If you're able to (read can be arsed) I'd be happy to pay postage on the piece if it can be persuaded off the golf bag. It's a long shot...
