Anyone stay up till close of play? I fell asleep long before.

Leaders off at 9.35 tonight in 2 balls. Still means thick end of 2am finish.
I stayed up an extra two hours to watch Armitage miss the cut by a shot

The biggest sucky part of a west coast tournament is the timings.

the best american tourament ive watched is tigers masters win a few years back.. not just because of the win.. but because of the storm warnings they played at a better time. a weekend at those times would suit USA and england fans for sure....

Thing is that the west coast tournaments work well for US audiences. They finish prime time on a Sunday on the east coast so viewing must be huge. Europe is just that one tournament they play in July

I won't be losing any sleep over tonight's coverage. If McIlroy wins then it will probably be wall to wall Rory on Sky Sports Golf next week so plenty of time to catch up.
