Upcoming live concerts.

I don't think I ever posted afterwards, but Hundred Reasons final ever headline show at the Royal Albert Hall a few weeks ago was absolutely incredible. A culmination of 25 years and an incredible way to go out. Sad now it's over (and that I forgot to order a shirt to commemorate it when they offered it up a few weeks ago ffs), but glad that I got to experience it.

Next up is Iron Maiden in Birmingham next month. They played the first show of the tour in Budapest last night and the setlist is absolutely mind blowing, so I'm absolutely buzzing for it.

I'd be surprised if many of you have heard of them, but I'm seeing Mclusky tomorrow night. Annoyingly the venue was changed from Electric Ballroom in Camden, to EartH in Hackney, with no reason given. Have just been working out which obscure bit of the Overground I need to get on.

Snap. It is an absolute pig of a place to get to. Mclusky are massively worth it though.

Oh yes! That will be excellent. EartH is, by all accounts, brilliant. But a complete pain to get to. And more importantly, home from!

Off to watch Springsteen on the 7th of June at Anfield of all places. A place I've never been.
Going equipped with Holy water, garlic and a crucifix.
Might see you there....we are going too, sitting in the Sir Kenny Dalglish stand........really looking forward to it having seen recent set lists.
Will be the 6th time I have seen him live. Always a great show.

Remember seeing him at Bramall Lane in 1987 or ‘88. Tunnel Of Love tour. Over three hours on stage without a break. Absolutely fabulous performance.

But Anfield? How could you? 😉😇

I accidentally saw Blue perform on Sunday. Underwhelming to say the least. I thought they were one-hit wonders, it turns out they were two-hit wonders and I forgot the other one. My little girl was with us and she said she liked it though. 😄

(We were at a food festival in St Albans and Blue performed at it.)

I once saw Heaven 17 perform in a field at a chilli festival. Lucky if there were 200 folk there watching. Felt a bit sorry for them tbh.

Reminds me that a couple of years ago on holiday at DisneyWorld, we saw Flock of Seagulls playing at the Epcot Flower Festival - random but they were very good

Glastonbury lineup looks horrific again, I’ve always had it on my bucket list of things to do but not anymore 😬
I've been a couple of times. There is so much to see and do, you don't have to go anywhere near the main stages to have a great time. That said, the "popification" of the line up over the last few years has been pretty depressing.

There's a few decent ones to pick out but not exactly wall-to-wall greatness. I never went to Glasto, felt like there would be way too much going on at once and I'd miss things out altogether. It was also ten times harder to get tickets than any of the other festivals.
