Upcoming live concerts.

I've been a couple of times. There is so much to see and do, you don't have to go anywhere near the main stages to have a great time. That said, the "popification" of the line up over the last few years has been pretty depressing.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a dozen or so artists I’d really like to see but the headliners and “big acts” are awful again imo.

There's a small festival been running every summer since 2021 just a couple of miles from my house.
Annoyingly, I only discovered this last year when I was opening the bedroom windows before going to bed and heard The Waterboys playing Whole of the Moon. The line-ups every year I've missed have been epic, from the point of view of an 80s indie kid (with a non-indie fondness for The Boss).
More annoyingly, the line-up this year is a bit disappointing, with the exception of The Sugarhill Gang and New Model Army.

Remember seeing him at Bramall Lane in 1987 or ‘88. Tunnel Of Love tour. Over three hours on stage without a break. Absolutely fabulous performance.

But Anfield? How could you? 😉😇
The Mrs in a previous incarnation (different partner) went to that concert and was beckoned by Springsteen to get up on the stage for a dance, she declined.
Just as well, she then ended up with me rather than that divvy Springsteen 😂

Were you married to Courteney Cox? Respect 😉

So, went on Saturday to see Springsteen at Anfield. He was excellent. It's my partner who is the Springsteen fan I've listened to bits of his stuff over the years but never avidly. So I left the concert converted. Great thought provoking songs, superb musicianship and an excellent showman. I bet he had a Radox bath that night. Even Macca got in on the act for a couple of numbers.
As an aside. We hear the constant criticism of OT as a stadium and yes a lot of it justified so I was expecting palatial surroundings at Anfield. No better or no worse than OT just smaller.

I've seen Bruce a few times with my old man. Always an incredible show - even when I don't know 60% of the songs he plays. 😁

Pulp at the O2 on Saturday, really looking forward to it. Saw the set list they played in Glasgow at the weekend and would be well pleased if they repeat on Saturday.
No support band either, just two sets by Pulp. 👍
Never seen them live, but definitely need to.
Different class is in my top 10 albums.

Enjoy 👍🏻
