England have just won the European U17 Championship .......................... on penalties!
Having drawn 1-1 against Holland tghey went on to win 4-1 on penalties.

Congratulations to them, I hope they fulfill their promise.

Scottish team got to the semi's as well, good results for both countries.

I watched a bit of the match and from what I seen they got won despite being outplayed. Technically the Dutch were far superior but it's a results business.

I also watched all our games and again technically we were behind pretty much all opponents but I was pleasantly surprised by the fact the lads tried to keep the ball on the deck a lot.

It's a kick about among lads and the proof in the pudding is further down the line as we Scot's know only too well from 1989.
