TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Spaceballs currently on Prime.

Oh I own that one - right at the end when they are in the diner and John Candy does his "I'll have the cleavage" line to the waitress - outside where they've parked the Space Winnebago, the Millenium Falcon is out there too. Little nod from Mel Brooks to George Lucas.
Same as in Close Encounters, when the big spaceship comes in at the end, R2-D2 can be seen on it.

We have just started watching The Trip with Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan. We have started on S1, the UK. Early days and I suspect we need to get into the rhythm of it.

Would we better jumping to S2, Italy, as it is more picturesque or do we stick with S1?

Ballard on Prime.

1 episode and that’s me done. They’ve managed to make Maggie Q completely unlikeable (a thing I thought wasn’t possible), the dialogue is terrible, the characters are terrible and the premise is terrible with a disjointed and absurd story in places.

Too many back stories at one time trying to be left as “mystery loose ends” but all it does is make it frustrating to watch.

They must have known as they get Maggie in to a bra or bikini a couple of times to try and distract from the absurdity.

Just finished watching untamed (Netflix)
Girl goes of a cliff in Yosemite National Park. Was she murdered? Was it suicide? and other sub plots

If you liked The Dry 2 you will like this

My wife pointed out last night that there is yet another new season of Dexter... I thought they'd killed him off once and for all with the pretty recent series featuring the reintroduction of his son but apparently not!
