TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Kinahan: the Irish mafia. Documentary on iPlayer - now I know why the great Dublin drug series was called Kin. Scary stuff.
Fascinating true story.
Also have watched the first episodes of MobLand and This City Is Ours - both shaping up well..

Halfway through season 5 of Yellowstone, it has been amazing but the last few episodes have been a bit too much…here’s how cowboys really live…with cheesy poignant country music playing in the background.
It was getting irritating it then bang 😳
I could not find the original post.

1883 is a really good watch.

Just finished 1923……… that was such a tough watch. Still not sure how the Indian story fits in, unless I’ve missed something, but the whole series has left me drained. I’m glad it’s over.

Edit: got the Rainwater story arc whilst lying in bed and mulling the show over. I somehow missed her name early on and only subconsciously registered it later.
[/SPOILER]

I started to watch 1923 but the opening episode put me off

The Indian story (whatever it is) may have come from 1883 where the Indians play a very significant part of the series.

Paramount +

I am watching The Landman an excellent series which makes you go through every emotion in the book I laughed out loud at several points. Warning - sometimes extremely violent.

Mobland 2 episodes in so far so good. As expected also violent in places.

Just finished a series called 'The Pitt'.
Don't usually like hospital dramas but this was excellent.
Hope one of the UK networks pick this up.

found the U streaming service is available on the tv and other sources free. Some great stuff on here and just started watching an all-time favourite that i haven't found elsewheer - At Home with the Braithwaites - just a brilliant show i will binge over the coming week or so

Just started watching Last One Laughing and it's very funny indeed. Bob and Richard have to be the funniest, no idea how the others aren't breaking from them.

Judi Love looks like the early favourite, she's hardly broken from that stony face of hers.

Ooh just seen Carter is the lead - I too hope we get it here.
Not looking good

It’s the greatest TV show of the year. So why can’t you watch it in the UK?

Noah Wyle’s The Pitt has been called the finest medical drama in a generation. But British viewers probably shouldn’t get too excited

Pacy and unpretentious – it’s the perfect pick-me-up. What a shame viewers in the UK are going to be left hanging for another year at least. This definitely isn’t what the doctor ordered

Just finished how I met your mother

Really was legend wait for it.. ary

Malcolm in the middle is pure brilliance. I'm going to watch it again with my kids because I keep telling them how good it is. (My daughter asked if it was in colour after a previous attempt to get them to watch Laurel and Hardy)

It's amazing how much Francis looks like a young Neil Patrick Harris aswell

Re-discovered a great show from about 10 years ago when I was in America - Black Sails. Pirate drama set over four series. Not available on UK Netflix unfortunately but there was Amazon and the box set. Half way through Series 2.
