TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Watched the first episode last night. Very enjoyable if a bit extreme in places, that scene with the dog!

If you liked this, you should watch Sightseers, also directed by Ben Wheatley. A very very black comedy, I loved it.

The bits where he is solving a murder work better than the plot about his missing brother.

Similar detective format to Death in Paradise - at least one similar conundrum (locked room). Gentle, fairly entertaining and nothing offensive.

For S2 I'd drop the SiL and the brother angle. Just let him solve crime in a quirky way. No need to over complicate it. They won't, but I wish they would.

The Melendez Brothers - the documentary on Netflix not Monsters on Netflix, a dramatisation of the same story.

A fascinating story with a roller coaster of emotions which make you question who you believe, the legal system and a lot else. Absolutely fascinating.
