TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Crime, detective series on ITV. Hard work, largely dislikeable characters and accents that are frequently unintelligible. Is anyone up to date? Is it worth sticking with?

Finished the latest Jack Ryan. Pity they only introduced a big character from the books in the last ever series. Rumours of a spin off give some hope on that at least.

Started the Terminal List on Prime. Decent enough so far so will be seeing it through to the end. After that I am pretty short of viewing options. Most things I watch have either finished for good or are in between series and are going to be held up by the Strikes. Going to be a very quiet start to next year on the viewing front.

You made it further than we did. I really liked it up to the point the main woman got promoted. It shifted the balance and it didn't work then after that, for me anyway. Some great characters in it though, and the first few series were very good indeed.

We are still looking for our next 22 min comedy, they are a great length and easy to work through.

We powered through and now on season 5, whilst the dynamic changed it works well once we got used to it

The birds episode was particularly brilliant.. and the finding out at end of season aswell

Liked the new presenter. Didn't like the jerky, different camera every 2 seconds direction.
Still don't know 95% of the answers.

The thing I found irritating was he repeated the answer everytime they got it right..."yes that's right plutonium" etc. He also spoke far too clearly - I'm used to the drawl of Paxman :-)

I hate change!

Black Mirror. Just amazing. Re-watched the first five series to be ready for the new one even though all the episodes are stand-alone. "San Junipeiro", "Hated in the nation" and "Manhunt" will hold up with the best television anywhere of the last decade.

Black bird.
Brilliant

We have just started this! Very good so far!! On Apple TV. Taren Eggerton, sent to prison and offered an out by getting some information from a serial killer. Quite into it so far!!

Also watching Zoo. I read the book (James Patterson) years ago and though it would make a great movie, its a series, and some of the acting is a bit poor, we are sticking with it, as the story is so good.
