The last series of Brooklyn Nine Nine went down that route. A shame. You can get a message across but subtlety is better than a sledgehammer.

I think this final season of Succession has really hit the heights of the first two and we can now forget about the third. It is one of the great series with some of the best characters and a great score.Succession, Tailgate party, a truly classic episode

Watched the first episodes of Ten Bob Brits and Steeltown Murders over the last couple of nights.
Ten Bob Brits is about families who emigrated to Australia in the 50s/early 60s. The storyline with the family whose father is the ex-squaddie with a drink problem was very good, but the Michelle Keegan character is pretty implausible.
Steeltown Murders is the story of 3 unsolved murders in Port Talbot in the early 70s. The case is reopened 30 years later, the lead copper on the cold case was a DC who was involved in the original investigation. Enjoyable is not the right word, but it was gripping. Not sure about Phillip Glennister's Welsh accent tho.

How the heck do the crafts people on The Repair Shop not burst into tears when they hand stuff back, must have balls (and stuff) of steel 
Just started Blackbird on apple TV, it was recommended. Strong first episode.
