TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Started watching "You" a while back. Got through Season 1, and now watched Episode 1 in Season 2.

The ratings it got were very good. In all honesty though, I cannot say it is gripping me. I'm wondering if it gets better and better, or if it is just the type of thing I'll never really get hooked to.
We gave up on that half way through the third series. Not sure how many more times he can get fed up of his partner, obsess over a new one, kill the old one, etc etc.

Omg it really grates me. It's the wish.com version of Dexter which was a piece of art. Even the god awful 8th season was better than any "you"

I think you've all convinced me to stop watching. Something pretentious about it.

Never seen Dexter

Dexter is a fantastic piece of television, a real ground breaking TV series , well cast and brilliantly acted

Micheal c hall take a bow

Andor - Episode 8 - the Ghorman Massacre - wow - unreal television. The Empire is not very nice.

The IMDB rating for Episode 8 is the highest I have ever seen for anything on that site.

It was just great TV and not just great star wars. You could have set that in any period if civil unrest and it would be just as good. The fact that the speech in episode 9 rings true without seeming out of context and overtly preachy ( and hearing in mind it was written for the animated Rebels series) is also amazing

Do you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men … one day more !

Just in episode 8, doing 9 tomorrow. They release them to quick this time around. 3 a pop doesn’t work for my schedule ;-)

Your right they need to do all at once so I can smash them!!!

Episode 9 was just as good. Yep, Welcome the Rebellion. This episode tied in perfectly with a Series 3 episode of Rebels where Gold Squadron hook up with Hera, Ezra and the others to escort Mon Mothma out of Coruscant.

Having hummed and harred about it finally decided to watch 1923 (paramount +).

Really good but I am finding it has too many story lines.

I think Taylor Sheridan (the writer) is trying to tell too much about that time in one go.

Is that an animated one? I didn’t watch any of those at all, just didn’t get into them. Clone Wars, for example.

Yes. I did not bother with Clone Wars but Rebels was actually really good. The Thrawn in the animated series was the exact influence on the real version in Ahsohka. If you watch 3-18 of Rebels, the latest Andor will really fit into the whole saga.

I look up some timelines every time I watch any of these new things.

With Andor, I wonder if we get a young Lea in the next couple of episodes. Organa was taking more centre stage now.
Also, did the very end of 9 lead into Skeleton Crew? I know they like to recycle androids.
