TV Series - What Are You Watching?

superman & lois

dunno why ive not watched it sooner i always liked the DC TV series.

also its the first time ive been able to relate to superman.. he has twins.. ones a dream and ones a problem.. feel you big guy

Finished a few things over the weekend:

Nautilus, Amazon. Good family entertainment, the type of show that used to be on at Saturday tea time. I enjoyed it.

Lincoln Lawyer, Netflix. Took a while for me to get into this series but once there, its usual strong showing. A reliable show.

Paris has Fallen, Amazon. Lots of plot holes but enjoyable tat. An easy going one to put on if you are stuck in.


I started Alex Cross on Amazon but after 2 shows I'm bailing on that. Not many likeable characters, a lot of anger. I understand why, if you watch it you will see, but it wasn't for me.

I couldn’t take to the main 2 characters.
Enjoying Day of the Jackal.
Penguin is next on my list.
 
I'm really enjoying Jackal. Not usually my thing but there's something spellbinding about the main character. He's cold...like, really cold.

Except where his wife and son are concerned. It's interesting.

I did the books, might give me some incentive to start the series. But the trailer doesn’t screen watch me already.
 
In the early hours ( I am a bit of an insomniac) I often delve around on BBC I player on the laptop, this week I came across

A Perfect Spy

1986 adaption of a John le Carre novel up there with Tinker Tailor etc

At that time I worked in the evenings and missed a lot of good stuff.

I really wish they would do a batman series again. They resisted with superman for ages. We had poundshop batman in green arrow . Flash, Supergirl. Legends which were all good in a way. Then this superman and Lois is pretty good

Gotham started without batman focusing on Gotham before him

But I really wish we could have a series

Hell get afleck back what an incredible batman when you look back at his performance, the warehouse scene. A series with him and irons working with the robins would be blooming fantastic
