TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Finished The Witcher. Awful second to last episode but the rest was decent. Set up well for the next season.

Annoyingly reached the mid season break of The Lincoln Lawyer. Wasn't expecting it, the programme was at a good point too.

Started series 2 of Upload last night. We watched the first series about 3 years ago in one of the lockdowns and forgot about it! Have forgotten a lot of what happened so the 'previously..' recap was actually useful for once.

Anyone watched Black Mirror… Netflix. Good? Bad? Worth a watch?
I watched some of the older series absolutely ages ago, then I've not kept up with it recently. Every episode is standalone with a different story and different actors, so some episodes were incredible whereas others were just alright. They all deal with a kind of dystopian future where technology or social media etc has got out of hand I suppose. Not far off where we are now. Series 1 and series 3 were really good.

One of them was Ramsay Bolton in GoT. He is clearly destined to always play that type of weird, sinister character
He was very good in Misfits, another similar role.

Have watched the first 2 episodes of Wolf. Really enjoying it. First one was pretty weird, it had a Inside No 9 kind of feel to it. By the second episode, it has settled down to a more traditional "cop trying to catch the bad guys" plot.

From series 2 - scaring the beejezus out of me (us both)!

Then You Run - not bad.

We Hunt Together - really good but weird ending (assume to leave room for a 2nd series).

😬
Let me know what you think.
Not great for me.
Out tonight, out tomorrow, hopefully see it Friday. I don't normally have a social life, freak week 😄.

I find with a lot of dramas now, the set up is great but they don't know how to tie everything up. It leaves a flat feeling, very meh.

I'll post back after I've seen it, we'll see if we agree

Vanishing Act on ITV X. Dramatisation of a true story about Melissa Caddick who was a fraudster in Australia who vanished after she was caught. Not on the scale of the brilliant Madoff documentary on Netflix that I thoroughly recommend but a good watch nonetheles.
