Transporting golf clubs

Hi all,

I've recently moved across the water to Belfast and need to transport my clubs from Glasgow.

Obvious answer is take the boat with the clubs in the car, but it's around 300 quid to go via car!

Ideally I want a courier service to deliver them for me (they're store at a friend's so he could pack and be there to pass them on to the courier) anyone any experience of this before?

I don't have a travel bag (just a stand bag with hood). I'm assuming id need to buy a travel bag and then put the stand bag inside it before sending? (And pack it all out?!)

I can recommend the Longridge hard case. Some at around £110 on eBay. Can put your bag and other stuff in it.

Thanks, I won't be transporting them around much after this so ideally I'd just like to get a soft case for around 30 pounds and then a courier service to bring them to me

Just bubble wrap them and lots of tape .
Parcelforce will deliver them to you .

You can get a shipping box on Amazon or elsewhere.

A firm called My Baggage will ship them for circa £20

What’s wrong with wrapping an old blanket round them and parcel tape round and round until the roll has gone.
