I'm playing the Crown course at Tracy Park on Sunday week, it will be my first time playing there and i just wondered what other forum members experiences of the course were. I don't usually pay more than £20 for a round, but my brother is treating me as he's over from Australia on a visit, i'm hoping that as its £40 per round the course is pretty decent. :)

Geez, I thought we were getting the thumbs up re an accommodating lady in Bath!

'Hello Tracy, we are from the GM forum and we understand you would like to join us at our next meet!'

Played it a few months back and unfortunately played terrible, seems like alot of members have left and they are turning it into more of a "pay and play" course. Greens were awful and course looked very untidy, glad we had a 2for1 voucher as i would not have paid 40 pound for it, sorry to burst your bubble :P

I know alot of there low handicappers have left over the last few years due to lack of funds (the bar has been a port-a-cabin for the last 2 years) but hopefully the course is in good nick for your visit!

It's not a £40 course.Tracy Park (nice girl by the way) has gone the up market accommodation route with 2 courses attached. Our senior's section dropped them for matches as the cost of food and drink was too expensive. But then we are a tight fisted old lot.
Anyway have a good day.
