TM M2 Faulty Iron Heads

You make a fair point, l just think large companies will always opt to do the bear minimum that suits them first. The mark up on golf clubs is huge so my sympathy for AG/TM is limited.. club heads very rarely come off, for 2 out of 6 to come off of a £500 set of clubs within 6 months of buying them is not acceptable in my opinion

Who says the mark up on golf clubs is huge??

For the retailer it certainly is NOT

Total tosh

i won't name the golf shop but i Baught my ping irons for cost and they was £450. rrp was £560

Most are working on margins of around 20% ( on clubs )
Not what I'd consider a "huge mark up" as was suggested by Adler

I've a couple of mates in the trade, so also have access to trade price lists, the buy in prices of some companies hardware, makes it pretty pointless to stock when you're a 1 man shop up against the buying power of the big guns.

Some people ( punters ) think they're doubling their money.....as if.......maybe on some items of clothing, but definitely not on clubs.

I accept my “huge mark up” comment was without foundation. You’re right on the clothing mark up as I’ve gone into to AG before and they’ve pointed out clothes that they can offer me discounts on as the mark ups were higher than on other brands.

Its obvious that someone has got the glue mix wrong when they were put together. If they redo them I dont see what the problem is.

I have just noticed that my 5 & 7 iron heads are loose, my 7 has a 10mm gap between head and shaft. I'm going to the shop in the morning to get them looked a.
