I’m sure I’ve seen threads on this in the past, but having searched 4 pages with both Titleist and Matchplay I can’t find them.

So, anyone entered before? Or doing so this year?
I have done, I figure for £20 why not?

Hopefully I’ll draw a local member from RCP or RSG. Knowing my luck, it’ll be Manston 😭😭

I entered last year and made it to Frilford Heath but then my game deserted me. Still looking cor it. Have given it a miss this year as I have too much on. Good luck to all those that have entered.

How wide ranging are the draws mate? How far have you had to travel for your first round defeat?
Not that far. When draw is made you see everybody in the draw and who they are playing and who you could play in all of the rounds until you get your section winner. However I suppose it does depend how many people enter in close proximity. Also their is a rule that if player a beats player b and enters the result before the match of player d and e then player A would have the game draw

Is there no discount codes this year? Where you get £50 off an EAGT event etc?

No, no £50 voucher or a box of pro v’s.

I’ve entered back in january but will be giving my first match away. I’m not playing this year much or the year after that.

Yes, I think there is only 1 bye so that's 15 in the group, website has gone weird now!
It could be that they hadn’t confirmed all draws and sorting it...
Otherwise myself and my opponent would have to play 3 games. The other guys are all straight into quarters lol
Have got lucky and got the best course to visit. It beat me up the only time I’ve ever played it, so not expecting to have to play Etchinghill/Canterbury/sweetwoods after 😂😂

I've been drawn away - will be playing at Aspley Guise which I'm quite happy about as it's a beautiful course that I know fairly well having played it a number of times.

Of the 8 ties there are only 3 byes.

I played a few years back, away against a bloke from Crowborough Beacon. Great course and a great match. Both of us were driving haphazardly, and that's what got me in the end.

I was 2 down with 4 to play. Then I won the next 3 holes, so I was leading going down the last. I 3 putted to lose the hole, so we finished level. I lost on the first by whacking both my first and second drive miles right :D
