Tiger to be fined

Tiger has said that he sees Jack Nicklaus as being the best golfer ever and one of his goals is to match and then better Jack's tally of Majors.

He should try matching Jack in other ways, such as on course manners, could you even imagine Jack Nicklaus gobbing on the green?

For me it wasn't the fact that he spat that I found disgusting, it was the fact that he spat on the green...

This is an outdoor sport were talking about ffs not dinner round the inlaws house. If he wants to let some bodily fluids out while he plays thats fine by me. Its not pleasent to watch, but it doesn't offend me.

What he can't do is do it on the green where he knows that others are going to have to play on it...

Instead of fining him why not dock him 2 shots the next tournament he tees it up at, that would serve as a reminder then. Same should be applied to slow players too

Whatever fine has been handed out will be a joke for someone who collected 3Million for turning up, plus winnings for coming 20th or whatever it was.

I think the tide of feeling against him both in the Pro ranks, and on Forum's like this, will be his undoing, and I recall saying that after what went on last year with him, he would never be the golfer he once was, I stand by that now too.
