This weekend...

Not strictly the weekend for two of these but got a bounce game at West Hill tomorrow afternoon, Bearwood Lakes on Monday courtesy of Ethan and first round of the 4bbb summer knockout on Sunday pm at our place. Seem to have found a swing which has been missing for a long long time when I played a few holes yesterday so fingers crossed:)

Got a KO match tomorrow, its ladies captains day Saturday (open to all) though only playing the morning part as dropping Mrs fundy at the airport later that day. Sunday planned to be a day recovering after Saturday night :)

Club 4'somes KO on Friday then 2 rounds at Parkstone on Sunday in an interclub scratch competition. 10 men in a team, 4'somes AM and singles PM. Should be interesting as both teams have about 6 county players in their respective teams (I'm not one of them). Parkstone can probably field a team with individual handicaps no higher than 1.

My weekend starts here, got a club match tonight a mixed match Thursday, medal on Saturday and invitation day on Sunday. I'll be glad to have a day off Friday, but I might go and practice. :)

Hunstanton Friday then maybe Sutton Bridge on the way back depending on light.

Saturday maybe 9 holes if I get time.

Sunday White tees on the Hotchkin for a medal round, Guaranteed 0.1 back unless it R/O :D

Scratch match on Saturday, then Bogey Comp on Sunday. Don't normally play both days but will interesting to see if latest form continues.

Captain's Away Weekend at Abbotsley, playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday - might even have a couple of drinkies in between rounds.

Competition golf continues for me this weekend, hope for another small cut, medal round Friday with my Dad in his first comp at our place, then stableford on Saturday morning. Hoping my roll continues. I'm not sure if the odd have been published yet but get your money on me because I guarantee I will win one!

Is Sutton Bridge the 9 hole course built in the old docks. An interesting course, not played it in ages but always remember the green on top of a 20ft high stone wall.

4BBB Ping qualifier thingy tomorrow, mine and HID's first club 4'somes KO on Friday after work, game with 3 other ladies on Saturday after the mens comp and game with HID and his friend on Sunday. Did quick nine last night as it was a glorious evening and HID wants to do the same again tonight but my neck and shoulders are killing me.....

Grandparents love seeing the little ones at the weekend . dont they ? even for a cpl of hours ? ;)

i had thought of that, but they live 75 and 190 miles away unfortunately.

just seen the forecast for myself, will definitely be getting a buggy and the nipper can drive me around in it

After a good week I am playing in the captains qual on sat!

I just want to reassure myself that my last two rounds haven't been flukes and I can repeat or better!

This saturday is it scramble with 4 balls teams, its the clubs restaurants competition. Its more a social competition with dinner and drinks afterwards. After recovering from a probably hangover on sun morning, i.ts tee time 2 oclock for a golf round with missus. A pleasant weekend with good weather forecast.

Playing my first ever competition on Sunday after receiving my first handicap last week. It's a bogey v par competition which I'm not even 100% sure what it is, but I'm raring to get a few competitions under my belt, it's just a shame we aren't allowed to play on the whites to get a little practice in.

That's the one, I like the course, haven't played it for a few years so will pop in on the way back from Hunstanton and hope the light will hold out for 18 holes.
