...Ernie Else. He needs a win or 2nd place and a bit of help from other players to get into the masters and it doesn't seem right that the big man will be missing at Augusta.

Granted he has himself to blame but he's showed signs of improvement of late and if only his putter was a bit hotter on the 18th last week he may have qualified already.

He's made a good start this week at Bay Hill and I for one hope he can put last weeks heartache behind him and get the win he needs.

Come on Ernie

Yep, I can get on board with that.

There's not many south african's I can warm to, but Els is one of them (Along with Goose, Charl and GP).

I see that both Robert Rock and Matteo Mannesero can qualify for the Masters with a win in Morocco this week - I'd love to see them both there but will go with my fellow countryman and hope Rock gets the win (as much as I'd love to see Manny there, but he's been there before)

Rock's had a nightmare already - septuple(?) bogey 11. Doubt he'll be winning now.... unfortunately.

EDIT: He's 6 over through 12

I'd like to see Ernie get there but what I'm really hoping is that Paul Lawrie holds onto his place, be good for his return to form to be rewarded with a place in the Masters.

Els putter wasn't just cold, his head went. That putt (if I can call it that) on 18 was terrible, and is exactly why he shouldn't be playing, let alone going to the Masters.
