In a similar vein, got a cask and keg sampling evening at the local pub which will be followed by an Indian in the restaurant next door. I had forgotten about it until my neighbour text me yesterday.

Being given 2 half days on Christmas eve and NYE and the 27th off too. Free days off are the next best thing to cash.

i bet they charged plenty, we went for dinner there a couple of times as its very close to us. overpriced and the service was poor, they spent all night fussing over some Russians with their stripper girlfriends last time. the wine merchant in town, Wood winters does a few a year, but the a taste is all you get.

Full glasses and topped up when empty.
Only one course was poor, the Turbot was over cooked.
Had a couple of Espresso Martinis as well, feeling it today
