Was at Ness Walk, cracking night with top notch wine 😀
i bet they charged plenty, we went for dinner there a couple of times as its very close to us. overpriced and the service was poor, they spent all night fussing over some Russians with their stripper girlfriends last time. the wine merchant in town, Wood winters does a few a year, but the a taste is all you get.

was it as many tries and you like or just one dribble per wine?

Full glasses and topped up when empty.
Only one course was poor, the Turbot was over cooked.
Had a couple of Espresso Martinis as well, feeling it today 😂😂

Openreach fixing my landline and internet.
This has been going on since Oct 25th and Kelly's have been out twice and failed both times.
Openreach nailed it at the 1st attempt.

The living room repaint started today, I had a spare few hours before work. Managed to smash out a first coat on almost one side the room

Got a day off tomorrow, kids staying at my mum's so I can paint for 10 hours and see just how much I can get done.

Need it done before the new sofas arrive

It's official - you're weird 🤣

I'd be irritated that I didn't have an excuse not to do it!!

I was irritated yesterday at the thought of starting it. I been dreading it all week. However once I get started I don't mind it. For example I didn't think I'd get that much done in a morning before work

I managed to clean up by 12 (girls left at 8) then took my lunch to my mum's so she could test drive my car then went work so felt like I've done something useful today

I am interested to see how much I can get done tomorrow

I do get it actually. There is a sense of achievement at cracking on and getting a job done - especially if it's one you're not really keen on.
