Things That Gladden The Heart

I smother them in that biscuit spread stuff - then they're biscuits. Or maybe that makes them sweet crackers...
Oddly enough Missis T has bought some with chocolate on them, they are better ( they couldn’t be worse) but I have to be desperate to eat one.

Never understood why a wound, any size or type, will itch like mad as it heals. You have just got to scratch it open again .... Evolution at it's worst?

Weird how similar thoughts crop up at similar times...
Last week I was playing golf in Turkey and got nibbled several times by whatever bugs they have out there, and it did cross my mind to wonder what possible evolutionary advantage there might be for insect bites to itch so much.

Enrollment in brownies

Had to do her promise alone because my mum (brown owl) put her in the group that's named after my nans brownie name. After she passed they named the group after her. Considering how my nan raised Me until she passed and I'm the only one of her grandchildren old enough to remember her it made me feel so happy.

Elvis by candlelight in Southwell minster last night. It was fantastic. Took the grand sproggs and MIL. Kids managed to get a scarf off Elvis and went behind the stage when Elvis was leaving the Building/ church. They were starstruck.

I was out there at the end of November and I was bitten all over, the bug spray didn't concern them at all!

The kids with Elvis. 😁
Oh and they got a sweaty scarf each.

We used to get 3 hampers a year sent us by my wife's charitable organisation, there were always oatcakes in them which went straight to the lawn for the birds. We could not even give them away to any of my wife's carers.
