Looks quite 'mechanical' to me , but oddly he seems quite streaky and has spells when holes a load & spells where doesn't seem to touch the hole

Probably because he's a former winner & defending champion. Am sure Faldo received a lot of support when he was defending

Faldo is great on commentary it’s when he gives interviews or talks when there is no play that he gets all about him.
Give him some pictures and he gives good insight.

That’s Bryson all over with his technique throughout the bag. He did himself years ago he bases his swing on physics and the golfing machine is a book he’s studied a lot.
