The Masters 2025

Faldo said in the buildup that if he won today it puts him at the top as the Grand Slam is so hard to do.

I don’t recall a better Masters in my lifetime, I’ve been a Rory fan since the 2010 Ryder Cup, and I thought he’d blown it a couple of times today, especially going into the play-off! Absolutely buzzing for him, I felt sick at times but so happy he’s got over the line.

Agree with the others that have said Bryson falling away didn’t help as he took his foot off the gas.

It was thrilling

Takes me back to when I watched Faldo in 90 winning

I was just wondering what the Irish would call their national dish.

Did Rahm do tapas and paella?
Did Maysuyama do Sushi?

With all those US winners it kind of turned into steak or burger club.

Love potato farls and soda bread

With Rory having done it, who is next in line for ‘will never do it at Augusta’?

Rose, Bryson, someone else?
They are surely fan favourites next time around.

An epic final two days at Augusta. That course really does make for a dramatic watch. A shame we have to wait a year for the next US Masters.

Special evening of golf and a special winner.

I knew he wouldn't make it easy and some of the unforced errors were nerves but 90% of his golf this week was on another level and he really should've finished around -20.

Moments of huge mental strength won him this. Bouncing back from the implosion towards the end of round one with a 66 on Friday. Bouncing back after the worst possible start today to reel off those back to back birdies. Then hitting that towering iron into 17 under real pressure. The best of all the drive and approach to 18 in the play off after missing that putt to win it moments before.

That's the monkey off his back and he'll clean up over the next 4-5 years

Think you could be right there, expect him to win a few more.

Best European golfer ever ?
I think he might just pip Poulter now.
