The Masters 2025

Given last year, I’d love to see a Rory vs BDC last group, final round duel. Might be good for Rory’s game too - could get out of major mode (which doesn’t work for him) and into beat-this-guy matchplay mode (which quite often does).
 
Rory actually has no bogey yet which is an unusual stat after 36 holes.
Shaping up to be a great weekend, any player at the top is capable of hitting a 65 this evening if conditions are favourable and setting themselves up for the final round.
 
Can’t remember the last time we saw Scheffler look that ragged, he hit some shocking shots yet still manages to post a 71.

Looks like an interesting weekend, at least no one has run away with it yet. From the coverage we have seen I think McIlroy has played the best, I don’t think he had holed anything of length yet either while Scheffler has had 2 monster putts and a chip in. Maybe Rory might need to steal a couple of shots if he is going to win this.
 
Tournament shaping up well.
I've tended to stay on the app until the proper coverage starts. Have to say found it hard going on the tv at times. Guess it is driven by the US broadcaster, seemed to be so much dead time with players walking, sighing, looking around - and lots of 'segments'. Maybe they know their audience.

Viewing figures down 28% on day 1 from last year. Maybe they don’t.

I thought the tv coverage was abysmal to be honest.
 
Nothing wrong with worys elbow after all. Will it be today or tomorrow he shoots 79 and claims it was hurting?

If he was to win I think Bob would have some sort of existential crisis 😆. Part of me still hoping (against rational expectation probably) that Rose can hang on despite half the world’s best golfers lining up behind him. Not least because it would make it a racing certainty that he’d be back at the Ryder Cup, which would also be awesome.

I literally said I'll be happy for him if he wins! For what it's worth I think he might win. Especially if it stays as soft and wind free as it was yesterday morning.

With Rose the concern is he's maybe trending the wrong way, but has been putting very well so if he can reverse the momentum today... 🤞
