Just to let forum members know that the North East group of the GM forum have booked a game up at The Hirsel Golf Club for 11.00am on Sunday 2nd June. Anyone wanting to join us is more than welcome to come along!

It looks a cracking course - The Augusta of the North, according to the website and promises to be a great day out.

Cost is £35 for bacon sarnies and coffee on arrival, golf and two course meal afterwards. We run a team and individual stableford comp on the day and ask for £5 towards the prize fund.

Great little course. When I mean little, you need to use the head off the tee with such tight dog legs. You can get to use the big dog as the hole straighten out......you'll see. Enjoy.

I'm chockablock. Would love to go but I'm in that many matchplay comps (6 in all) at this time I just can't commit.
