I have recently taken delievery of a go-kart, a mighty fine bit of kit it is, I understand many of you will dissagree with a junior having an electric trolley, but it's to counteract the levels of exhaustion i suffer during exercise, (down to bloody sugar levels), i dont know the whole story.

Question 1) I have noticed the wheels tend to wobble quite a bit, is this normal?

Question 2) I used my normal standbag with the trolley today.. and found that it was'nt tall enough. This meant that the foldy out bit that the bag rests against at the top of the bag. Kept collapsing back in, Is this also normal to? Or did i just fail to fit the bag properly.

Thanks in advance.
Liam

I have a new one and the wheels do not wobble, you need to make sure they're clicked on right or contact the company.

Your stand bag must be silly short if the upper rest is missing the bag, I can't understand that, sure you've folded it out fully?

It's not that its missing the bag. its that when i want the bag to sit snug at the top. its not snug at the bottom.

If the bag is snug at the bottom then it does'nt fit right at all at the top, due to part of the bag getting in the way

Therefore when the bag is snug at the top and not the bottom. When it moves the bag becomes snug at the bottom, and the top rest collapes in to compensate :S

Oh well, im off to buy a cart bag tomorrow.

I agree that you need to make sure the wheels are properly clicked into place or failing that report it to go-kart. They have great customer service and shoudl be able to advise/rectify. I guess it you are using a stand bag and having problems the answer maybe to invest in a trolley bag. The go-kart ones are reasonably priced but have a look in your pro shop or online

I have just emailed go-kart about my findings because im sure they will be happy to know.

I will have to check they are properly fitted to it, come to think of it I think its the left wheel that is wobbling... and i think that was the one that was detached when it comes in the box.

Strange isnt it, maybe they did change packaging.

Test driving mine today for the first time, so excited!! No wonder I woke up at 0530 :( don't tee off until 1048 lol

Just make sure that you hear both sides of the battery click into place when you assemble the kart. Very easy mistake to make and you will suffer from the power "coming and going" if you get it wrong. The battery seems a little tricky to get in the right position at first, but it soon becomes second nature. And if you find your kart veering to one side as you are going down the fairway it's normally an indication that the bottom of the bag isn't seated in it's holder properly.
Enjoy your new found freedom, you will love it and your legs and back will thank you.

Both wheels should have been detached when it arrived, I know mine was.

Mine only had one wheel detached when it arrived. They must have changed the packaging???
:D

Don't worry mine arrived with one wheel off and one wheel on.

Looking forward to taking her out for the first time today, lets see how it copes with the south downs ......

and the remaining 19 minutes 42 seconds was spent polishing and making vroom vroom noises :D

I seem to be sepnding longer at the shoes cleaning station blowing the grass off my go-kart wheels than I am cleaning my shoes. Still HID is happy as I'm not leaving half the course in the boot. I am really loving mine and thanks to everyone who suggested a trolley as a solution to my diabetic related fatigue issues.

Anyway Homer. What's with all the Secret Squirrel stuff regarding PMs about the GoKart?

For those of us that have had them for a while, ie. pre grippy wheels and pre new design of front support assembly; what's it all about? Especially as there are some on here that have been extolling the virtues of the GoKart long before you jumped on the band wagon!! ;) :p

For someone to take up the go-kart breeding programme when they buy a trolley based on a recommedation, they have to supply some of my info including e-mail and postcode and its not something I wanted to put out onto the general forum.

I am simply trying to recommend the trolley as one of the best, certainly value for money wise, to as many people as I can. They and I both get £5 credits when they buy and so its a win-win. To be honest I have been banging the go kart drum for ages and actually used a review by leftie as the firs equipment review on the forum pages. I was stubbornly carrying and it was only when everyone on here made me realise my deterioration in performance was probably tiredness caused by carrying and my diabetes that I woke up to the fact that a trolley was a smart move. No ulterior reason other than trying to tell everyone that I think its a good product.

Of which you could have PM'd me? If the whole pyramid selling thing was a bit of an issue for you. ;)

No seriously. Good luck to whoever can get whatever outta anything. It just seems a bit strange for it to start happening now, when our very own forum 'editor' is on the case. Bearing in mind how others have been raving about the product for over a year now.

I'm aware that you've always commented on what good press the GoKart has on this forum, and have always been positive towards it. But as someone has pointed out, you've had one for, like, 5 minutes.

As I mentioned. Didn't want to 'blow' it for you, just interested in the pm'ing thing everytime someone mentioned a GoKart.

Is there something not so subtly writen between the lines here for the guys at Gokart to read?

Its ok to use your position to get yourself some freebies but i hope this isn't the only reason for the very strong recomendations your giving to poeple..? :D
