Aparrently the tickets are 7 times more than the bid document said they would be.
I wonder if anything could be done about that? If the bid document is full of lies, I don't suppose FIFA will suddenly say they can no longer host the World Cup.

The bid document probably isn't worth the paper it is written on. What's more important is the amount of cash in the brown paper envelope :ROFLMAO:

Here’s the link to the BBC article, bit long but worth a read, couple of bits stick out:

Establishing the actual cost of tickets for this summer's tournament is difficult as Fifa has never released its pricing structures.

It is also using a version of dynamic pricing, whereby prices change at the start of each sales point depending on past demand.

And

Controversially, Fifa has not made free tickets available to the assistants of fans using wheelchairs. Tickets must be bought at full price and they may not be situated next to each other.

Did I hear somewhere that FIFA are taking 30% of the ticket sales? If so they'll be delighted and not give a flying fig about the lies and ripping off fans.
Not sure if this is the 30% you mean:

“Fifa's resale platform, which will probably bring even higher prices - with both buyer and seller charged a 15% fee - reopens on Thursday.”

So the News of the World is still going then? :ROFLMAO:

Bad deal for everyone, Chelsea and the players.

Good players are on lower wages compared to their peers at other clubs and will want to leave, players that haven't worked out are essentially stuck and hard to move on. No idea what Chelsea were thinking. It seems they're being run as one giant football academy with the idea being to sell players, rather than winning anything. That's contradicted by paying huge fees for some players who they'll never make a profit on.

No direction with style or managers either.

Current club World Cup winners 🤷‍♂️😆

Coventry were nearly wishing that VAR was in the championship there.. If only it was used for situations like the keepers save, as opposed to how it is used the now. I am sure we would all be happier with it.. Clear touch by the keeper on the replay.. Hard to see in real time though..

Liverpool being well and truly caned here. FA Cup quarter final and they haven’t turned up, and Slot looks devoid of ideas on the touchline.

Has he been found out this season? My view has to be yes. Nowhere near the manager the fanfare last season suggested.

It’s far too easy to pin on the manager but doesn’t help with players being shocking , missed loads of chances today and then mentally crumbled after another poor mistake from VVD
