The player who pulled The hair said “
It was an accident as I meant to pull
Her shirt”. And there in lies the problem. That’s how fouls happen. They didn’t mean to do some. That was what VAR was Brought in for. Clear and obvious
Have you seen it? The attacker has a long pony tail, the defender was chasing her, ball on the ground. There's no way she didn't know what she was pulling.

So Sweden didn't win their group in a competition where the reward was a WC place?
Not exactly, they won their group in League C, but then 4 Teams from the Nations League who had the best ranking and didn’t qualify for the WC via the WC qualifying leagues were given a play off place.

So there “reward” for winning their group in the Nations League C is promotion to League B in the next Nations League competition.

The next Nations League in 26/27 won’t have this happening as it is prior to the qualification for the WC in 2030.

Keane’s defence in his hair pull was more believeable. 😂😂
He was stupid for going to hold the guys shirt or push him, a real pet hate of mine, but he was jumping for a long ball, with the attacker. Eyes are on the ball all the way, his hand goes out to the attacker as it often does. He isn't going to grab his hair, the guy just had long hair and he ended up holding it briefly. He doesn't pull him back by his hair as the arsenal player did last night. Keane was silly but the officials were over zealous that night.

Both are Red Cards, last nights being missed is hilarious.😵‍💫

Qualification via Nations League playoffs doesn't really bother me. All the best teams will be at the World Cup, so the primary Qualification groups do their job. If you don't qualify via those, then you may get a second chance, but there is more jeopardy to that. It isn't a safety net guarantee.

Nations League and the associated playoffs makes certain games a lot more interesting than just another bunch of friendlies.

And no point in being bothered about Team A was worse than Team B in qualifying, yet Team A is the one going to the World Cup. So many events have multiple Qualification routes. Champions League was mentioned. Getting promoted to PL after finishing 6th in league is another. Not to mention the many ways golfers can qualify for Major events. We could moan all day long about why an absent player deserves to he playing over another, but what's the point? :)

Yup I saw it. It was an admission she did what she did. Hence it was a sending off. Her explanation was quite frankly pathetic. What I don’t understand is the Chelsea manager got a red for stating the facts. Facts which VAR never looked at. 😳

I think if I was the manager I'd have taken a red there as well :ROFLMAO:. When someone makes that bad a decision it is worth pointing it out.
