I find it very strange men in anoraks sit on railway platforms copying down train I.D. numbers, but it’s their choice.

I can confirm they do! Mrs M Stepdad is a train geek and they have several forums he posts on and meet ups to watch specific trains. Also has the same for Remote Controlled trucks where they have a forum he runs and set up little model villages to drive them round in. Very Weird people

I find it really bizarre that so called football fans are saying they aren't going to be watching the World Cup because of a certain individual. He will not be shown at the vast majority of the games, won't even be mentioned. Strange behaviour.

Normally by now in a WC year there is a buzz and excitement about what’s ahead, apart from maybe the opening ceremony and the final the head of state is rarely seen and even less heard of.

There are 3 Countries hosting this tournament and all we’ve heard about is him and his involvement in the WC.

FIFA Peace Prize, delaying giving the money to host cities in democrat areas, Iran pulling out, other countries still not knowing if their teams or fans will be given visas.

It’s England’s last warm up match tonight before the tournament, were’s the buzz?

It’s a Golf Forum, so the vast majority are interested in golf, possibly a max of 20-25 people post in the footie thread.

3-4 people have said they have no interest in this years WC and have given their reasons!

You have decided they are “bragging” about it!

How about you show us the posts were people on the footie thread are talking positively about the WC or tonights game.

It’s irelevant whether you agree or disagree with us/them and our reasons

It's still months away and the focus is on the end of the domestic season. No one has ever got into a frenzy about a WC in March.

I did, but I have put it out of my mind and not let it bother me since. Unlike some on here, I can ignore him and concentrate on the football and not buy into the circus. By getting all mad about the trophy is giving Trump the attention he craves and people are playing right into his hands.

Who used the word frenzy? But normally there would be discussions on the Squad before the Final warm up game, even if it was to discuss who’s missing etc.

Even on the BBC Sport App front page there is no mention of tonights game.

On the contrary, I think they probably did want De Zerbi but he initially said he wanted to start afresh next season, which would be why they got an interim manager in. Now they've gone back to DZ and said "The interim manager didn't bloody work, PLEASE can you take over now??" If he fails to keep us up, I think we'll see his contract terminated.

Well he’s got a 5 year contract with no relegation clause so won’t be sacked.
I wouldn’t blame him if we get relegated he’s had to come in at the worst possible time.

If they really wanted him before they should have said take it now or leave it , as Man United did.

I think it’s you who needs to chill and stop overreacting to 5 blokes on a golf forum saying they are not looking forward to the WC.

I doubt trump is going to read this thread and be pleased 5 middle aged nobodies think bad of him.
