He is already “advising” a team not to travel to the US to partake in the World Cup - he certainly doesn’t mean nothing to the World Cup in the US

Trump isn't the reason why I'm not looking forward to it (I think I can include myself as a middle aged nobody).

Its the corrupt organisation that sits at the top of the world game, who have relegated what is supposed to be the pinnacle showpiece of the sport, into nothing more than your average sports day, where everyone gets a badge for taking part.

There was a suggestion from CONMEBOL (South American governing body) to expand the 2030 WC to 64 teams....that's pretty much one third of FIFA's member nations qualifying for the finals....if that happens then we might as well go and watch tiddlywinks for all the excitement it will generate.

In all seriousness, I agree, even today Infantino had said Iran will take part and play their group match’s in the US, despite trump saying they shouldn’t go to the WC for “their own life and safety” and the Iranian Minister of Sport saying they’re in no position to participate in the tournament.

I’d be happy to see FIFA completely fail.
