There are some things you should not do .
This is one if true.

Fella who used to be a cop in my Force once set out on an elaborate hoax, convincing those around him, including his (now ex) wife that he had cancer. So convincing was his story that he even convinced her to start a family early, whilst they still had the opportunity. He took time off work for “treatment”. Long after the lies became evident, nobody could ever establish what he was actually trying to achieve by doing it, because there was never any tangible gain.

As someone who lost my father to cancer, and has had treatment for it myself, I would never wish the disease on anyone. I came perilously close to changing that stance when I heard the full story about this man.

Yep, I know some lads up here who’s life is following Sunderland and they are in their 50’s & 60’s, they got every shirt for about the last 20 years and take pride in both wearing the latest and (if given the chance) telling you about them.

Their family don’t go without, the money is above board and one of them takes great pride in him and his grandson wearing the same shirt and scarf to go the games.😂😂
A bloke I used to go to football with would buy 2 shirts every time a new Newcastle shirt was released....one for wearing, the other to be hung up with a protective polythene cover (like what the dry cleaners use) in his wardrobe.

As Lord T mentioned the other day, I’ve never seen an area so seemingly obsessed with the Teams Shirts.

I bet you would find someone in either town centre wearing a N’Castle or S’Land shirt 365 days a year.😂

Crunch day for Wales and Northern Ireland today. Ultimately though, at least one of them will be disappointed.

In these "semi final" games I would expect that Wales should beat Bosnia playing at home, but N.I. might struggle away in Italy...though an early goal might put a huge dent in Italys confidence.

I love the fact that these are one game only, not 2 leg affairs. It makes it all or nothing, not tactical in the first game. Absolute pressure, it's what sport is about at that level.

Have I missed something about the PSG President? The Lens game was postponed because of fixture congestion, as they need to play Liverpool on the following Tuesday.

I thought he was only suggesting rearranging that fixture would have not been an issue had the following match been Wednesday. However, he appreciates Liverpool do not want to play on the Wednesday due to the anniversary.

I only read the text, but it seemed very respectful towards Liverpool football club

He isn’t right to use it as an excuse to have the Lens game postponed which was on the Saturday - the same day we play Fulham

It’s disgraceful to use the event as an excuse for his team wanting to have a week to recover inbetween the CL games
According to the Daily Mail (🤢) PSG were happy to play Tues 7th & Wed 15th, then not postpone the Lens game, Lpool rightly disagreed and the dates are 8th & 14th and they’ve asked the French League to postpone the Lens match and they’ve agreed.

I genuinely don’t believe he’s used the Hillsborough disaster as an excuse from the report I’ve read, certainly didn’t say anything disrespectful.

Please link anything that shows his words or behaviour as disrespectful because if he has been I hope you humiliate them on the pitch.

You’d also hope our PL would step in and postpone your match v Fulham.
