There are some things you should not do .
This is one if true.

Fella who used to be a cop in my Force once set out on an elaborate hoax, convincing those around him, including his (now ex) wife that he had cancer. So convincing was his story that he even convinced her to start a family early, whilst they still had the opportunity. He took time off work for “treatment”. Long after the lies became evident, nobody could ever establish what he was actually trying to achieve by doing it, because there was never any tangible gain.

As someone who lost my father to cancer, and has had treatment for it myself, I would never wish the disease on anyone. I came perilously close to changing that stance when I heard the full story about this man.

Yep, I know some lads up here who’s life is following Sunderland and they are in their 50’s & 60’s, they got every shirt for about the last 20 years and take pride in both wearing the latest and (if given the chance) telling you about them.

Their family don’t go without, the money is above board and one of them takes great pride in him and his grandson wearing the same shirt and scarf to go the games.😂😂
A bloke I used to go to football with would buy 2 shirts every time a new Newcastle shirt was released....one for wearing, the other to be hung up with a protective polythene cover (like what the dry cleaners use) in his wardrobe.

As Lord T mentioned the other day, I’ve never seen an area so seemingly obsessed with the Teams Shirts.

I bet you would find someone in either town centre wearing a N’Castle or S’Land shirt 365 days a year.😂
