Probably your best performance for a while!
Turned over to the Spurs match at 4-0 and even Spurs looked a different team tonight, if they can match this performance they should be safe in the PL.![]()
Ooh you could tell it was serious by the reaction of the woman sitting thereJust saw that a Galatasary player severed his thumb when he crashed against the advertising boards as Anfield. Ouch. Surgery in Liverpool today.
I think as soon as Osmihen broke his forearm, that absolutely killed them. You could tell he had no ability or desire to go into any sort of challenge, or risk getting even a minor knock on it. I guess he is their best player, but in hindsight should have been taken off much earlier.
Just seen it and from the bit I have read, all the main leagues are using VAR differently from offside to handball. Who would have thought that.![]()
VAR: Uefa calls leagues to summit over 'microscopic' video assistant referees
Europe's top leagues are summoned to a meeting with Uefa to discuss how VAR technology is being used.www.bbc.co.uk
A possible reset?
Of course. Imagine if they awarded Germany the 1966 World Cup after goal-line technology was invented.Going back and changing the result two months after the event is a total farce. Even the Morocco players can't be happy with that, they know full well they didn't win. No celebrations - it will feel completely hollow.
Exactly this. If a decision wasn't made at the time, then the failure to apply the correct rules is then another breach.
You either call off the game there and then and apply the rules correctly or you let it go. Can you imagine anything like that happening in the World Cup or Euros?
Quite. Senegal walking off was a very clear breach of a simple rule. It’s too ludicrous for words that it’s taken two months to apply it. They may as well scrub Afcon 2026 from the record books because the outcome is absolutely meaningless.
Been like that every single game we've played them in (all 3 of them). They're a really well organised outfit, but just barge their opposition around and a lot of the European referees just let them get away with it.Midtjylland are a bit physical.
Forest seemingly finding their feet in the game but plenty of barging and checking from the Danes.
Story of our season, that. could have had 5 goals in the first halfForest should be at least 2 up with the chances they have had.
Probably a few reasons:Why are there THIRTY-FIVE players in the England squad for two matches?? What the hell is the point of that?
