If Spurs go down, who do you think will stay? Solanke, Tel, Odobert, Sarr, Danso, Kinsky and possibly Maddison are the only ones that may.
Can't see Tel staying, he'll be straight off back to Germany or France.

I'd imagine Spence might stay for the first season, especially if Porro goes and he can play every game on the right. Bissouma might hang around, he hasn't exactly been stellar enough to earn a move. I would expect Gray to stay and play a big part in the side. Bergvall as well. Maddison would probably stay out of loyalty after being out this season, and Championship gives him a good chance to get back on his feet. Solanke would probably be very good in the Championship, if he can stay fit. If we hung onto him we'd have a good chance of coming back up.

Solanke is a good player in the right team

Would be a good fit for Everton

Maddison is a very good player just can’t stay fit

I suspect no one will want Ricarlinson
Just because of his attitude/personality? He's actually been a semi-regular scorer for us when he gets a run in the team, maybe moreso than any of the other attackers. But probably has Saudi League written all over him.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? A Liverpool fan who wouldn't take one player from Man Utd (who are currently ahead of them in the league), but would take three players from the worst ever Spurs team I've ever seen, and who are in real danger of relegation? :)
I think anybody would take Gray and Bergvall, they look to have a real bright futures ahead of them.

Will Spurs have relegation clauses in players contracts? I'm not sure they would have. Could be a heck of a fire sale to get the wage bill down

The cost of those clauses can be expensive depending on who asked for them. If a player asks, that might be reflected in the signing on fee. Equally, if it’s something a club asks for the signing on fee, or contract cancellation, might be higher. I’m sure the money men have factored that in, although who would have thought a club like Spurs would be so bad.

I am going to stick my head above the parapet and say spurs won’t go down. Established premier league clubs always seem to escape other than maybe West Ham. Look at Everton. They always escape. Forget recent record. I remember some years ago I think they beat Wimbledon last game of the season to survive.

Played golf with one of our pros this morning. Big Arsenal fan, so he has an unnatural interest in all things Spurs.

He claims to have heard that no fewer than 17 of the Spurs first team squad have clauses allowing them to leave in the event the club are relegated.

I'm not sure I'm seeing the determination in that spurs team. West ham and forest have it, spurs are lacking. Unless the majority of their injured players are due back imminently, increasing the quality levels, I'd be most worried as a spurs fan out of those down there.

As an Everton fan who's been through the stress in recent times, we were poor, struggled to score goals, but we could scrap and work for points. Forest and West Ham are scrapping, spurs aren't

Any spurs fans out there, any of your star players due back shortly? Any that could save you?
I’m not convinced they have any star players. The teams been built with big club ambitions on small club budget. Yet it has not recruited in the right way as an outsider looking in.

They’ve effectively got what they deserved so far after years of building a business and neglecting real development of the team.

And yet not a single player on that list looks capable or good enough to stop the rot
