Because Man City were good that season. And if the same Man City turned up for the 2024/2025 season, Slot probably wouldn't have won the title either.
Slot's Liverpool only finished with 2 more points than Klopp's the season before, and coincidentally exactly the same goals for and against. If Slot's Liverpool had scored same points season before, they's have been 7 points behind City and 5 behind Arsenal.

I've swapped over now to the Toon game but prior to that the villa v Chelsea game was a cracker. Whisper it to the Utd fans but Garnacho was on fire down the left.

Was just wondering if VAR could be improved by offside, to avoid debates about toe nails being offside, which frame the action is stopped to view, or which part of shoulder line is drawn.
Could it not be changed to "stick with onfield call, unless player is onside/offside (against onfield call) by more than 5cm". That way, VAR only reverses decision in very obvious cases.

Was watching the City match - felt like watching a game during Covid ,
