Actually watching a game with VAR for the 1st time in years as have a Liverpool supporting mate staying with me for a few days. Blimey doesn’t Van Dijk constantly moan to the referee

As soon as Clattenburg said there would be absolutely no way VAR would recommend a review, I was fully expecting VAR to recommend a review. He is truly abysmal.
Wonder how much he is paid per game, for his input once or twice a match?

Just beaten by the better team , prob the best team in Europe - shame it won’t be a PSG Bayern final
PSG give the ball away an awful lot, but they do it by trying passes that others don’t see. Almost everything they do in possession is a departure from the norm, which is what makes them so entertaining to watch. And when they lose the ball, they recover it very quickly.

PSG are a class act. In second gear tonight and picked Liverpool off at ease. On paper they're better in almost every position though, not many Liverpool players would get near their first eleven.
A shame Barca went out, two red cards and the better team by miles over both legs.

I can safely say zero Liverpool players get into that PSG team right now. you can have arguments about 2/3 at their peak, but there's an absolute chasm between us as things stand. Biggest thing that worries me about the Liverpool team at the moment is the point in the second half where we were playing well, at a decent tempo and putting a shift in. Why does it worry me? because the players know they can do it, but clearly aren't doing it for the most part.
Enrique has that team so well drilled whilst still keeping the flair in those players who have it. Slot has managed to do the total opposite.

I thought at least Liverpool had a go tonight.
They played with a higher tempo and if they had got the 1st goal it may of been interesting.
It makes you wonder though where that effort has been all season?
As a fan I can take us losing but what annoys me is when the team get outrun and outfought which has happened a lot this season but not tonight.

Few went off with injuries tonight so may not be at full strength either.
