It’s not a jibe, it’s a fact. I get it’s a forum and open for debate, but you must see that some of the replies are not about the subject but attempts at a wind up or a dig at someone.

If you were in a pub or any other social setting can you honestly say you’d try and have a conversation with someone who doesn’t speak to you?

To be honest Paul, Ave not seen what one has actually written. But by the jest of reading others responses, it don’t take Sherlock Holmes to work out what has been said and by who.
My response is that Having Met Milner, he is a role model and deserves all the plaudits he gets. He has never chased the Money, and his own motivation to succeed is an example to all.
For me a legend is Pele, Messi, Ronaldo, Nedved, KDB, Best, etc etc.
He is a good player and deserves the respect.
 
As Tashy has said. You see "you are ignoring content by this member" when their post is quoted by someone you don't have on ignore. I doubt very much he goes looking for Phil's posts - why would he.

It's the same old story. Phil is fine to repeatedly tell someone their opinion isn't valid but boy as soon as anyone dare disagree we have the internet trawled to prove otherwise. Then others fight their corner and Phil is the victim.

Anyway. I'm out. Enough energy wasted.

My take is.
Milner is a very good footballer but not a football legend.
If you had to pick one thing he’s done of spectacular skill I couldn’t.


He’s a legend in reliability and appearances and mostly in the premier league.
So deserves some praise that managers still pick him.

Phil answered Lord T, you and Tashy, obviously we now know Tashy has him on ignore I wasn’t aware of that!

Go back and have a look at the others who posted in reply, all the bantz and p!ss take towards phil’s posts.

Trust me, I’m no fan of his and found it quite easy not to post because I don’t agree Milner’s a legend, but I posted because whether you can see it or not 7-8 people posted disagreeing about Milner and then started with the posts taking the p!ss trying to get a response, yet somehow he’s the issue because he dare reply to some of those posts.
