Considering the red cards recently how did VAR not pick this up

It’s no different to the Simon tackle on VVD

That is worse than the tackle Romero got sent off for against United. At least Romero had the ball in front of him to be win. Red card all day long for Foden. Even with VAR reviews we don't get consistency, what is the actual point of it.
