He has always been used as a squad player that can play very well in a lot of different positions.
I don’t think he was ever first choice at City or Liverpool.
Comes across as a nice person though which is the most important thing when assessing a player 😉
I once met him in Dublin where he played for City pre season. Really nice guy and a model professional. I was gutted when he left City. I remember when liverpool were up in arms when Stirling came to City at the same time when Milner went to Liverpool and that was ok.

No idea how you are linking Sterling going to City and Milner leaving on a free 🤦‍♂️

Sterlings advisors/agents were slagging off the club hence the negativity

Milner decided to not sign a new contract because he wasn’t getting regular football

It'll be interesting to hear why the officials felt the rugby style tackle on Maguire wasn't a penalty. They won't have the excuse that the ball hadn't been kicked into play yet

I've just seen that incident ............................. astonishing.
The defender had his back to the ball as he was hauling Maguire out of the way!

How’s that not a penalty (and red?) against Trippier? Had the ball gone too far away? Looked close enough to me.
Must admit....I think we got away with one there.

Slowly getting to grips with the game and for once the corners are being delivered with some meaning. Brentford still dangerous though when they go forward with pace.
